Alabama’s wide receiver room is getting a huge boost later this month.
Ryan Williams, a five-star freshman, is ready to show college football how special he is.
The two-time “Mr. Football” recipient for the state of Alabama had an electric career at Saraland (Ala.) High School. He reclassified to the 2024 recruiting cycle, keeping his five-star rating and recognition as arguably the top receiver in the class.
Williams nearly led Saraland to a Class 6A state championship, but he is excited for the opportunity to assist the Crimson Tide to Southeastern Conference titles and College Football Playoff National Championships. Kalen DeBoer said he ‘can’t wait’ to get Williams with the rest of the guys on campus. DeBoer told reporters he will play the best players, regardless of classification.
Just a daily reminder Ryan Williams will be arriving on campus later this month…

Julio Jones was the last marquee in-state talent that created a lot of buzz.
Williams is more than prepared to live up to the standard.
